Summer Conference

Hello to all out there

Hope to see you at the conference. I will be presenting a "How to" manual for new Health Assisting Instructors.

BTW Has anyone been contacted about the reviewing of the Health Services Frameworks during the SY 09-10? It seems that DOE is reviewing some of the frameworks for currency etc.

Anyone using the new VTCTS? How do you like it?

Another Important Link

The question of how many students may be in a lab or clinical with one instructor is answered at this link http://www.mass.gov/Eeohhs2/docs/dph/regs/105cmr156.pdf

It states " The instructor shall assure that there is a minimum of one instructor for every 25 students in a classroom and minimum of one instructor for every ten students in practice/clinical sessions."

Nurse Aide Exam Site

I want to share a web site that you may find helpful. It is a web site for Nursing Assistant Exams. There are five in total. It is set up as a text. It had helpful hints for test taking for the students. Try it out!

Need of a little Help

Hello All

My apologies for not writing sooner.

I need a little help. Some of the physicians in our vicinity's have agreed to take students in an unpaid externship while the students are in shop. I need some guidance. Does anyone know of any regulations for this. It is not coop but the students would go directly to the office, spend the day and then go home. Students will be going to different offices in different locations. Does anyone do this now? You can either write to me or call.
