Thursday Morning 6/26/08

Today some of us attended 3 very useful programs. The first was about the Human Services Academy at Diman Voc. I have the PowerPoint for it but I haven't figured out how to link it. (but I will :))

The second was about the Paid Feeding Program by Candace Bracken from Greater Lawrence Tech. She made sence of a confusing topic. This also generated lots of discussion as to when the feeding program was taught. I will add some of the links that she provided.

The last presentation was given by Sharon Grundel from the Mass AHEC Network. She gave a recap of the April Conference and anticipates that there will be another Conference sometime in November. Watch for more information as soon as I get it.

Conference At Assabet

Hello to all.

While at the conference here at Assabet, I was talking to fellow Health Occupations Instructors. Because she was new into the arena of vocational education, she wished that there was a web site that she could go to and get information or ask questions.
Coincidentally , I had just been to a session on how to make your own blog.
Hmmmm.

What I hope to do is, over the summer, put as much information that I can about the CNA guidelines. I would like to invite all of you to add information, and post comments. Maybe this could be a way of communicating with each other collectively and not individually via e-mail. If I have a question, perhaps you do too. Anyway, I hope you will all help with this endeavor.
